What is really feeding us?
Workshop

The Portuguese poet Natália Correia stated in a famous poem: "Poetry is to eat!" What is it that feeds us? Vegetables? Protein and fibres? Movies and books? Art and poetry? Or all of these together? Regardless of the response found by students during the workshop, it seems we may need an expanded understanding of food.

Valentina Thayer is the founder and educator of Macau Moon.

Through interactive workshops, Macau moons, a platform dedicated to sharing information, the body-mind-emotion connection, the female menstrual cycle, and balanced life, are easy to understand. As an Integrative Nutrition Health Certified Teacher Coach for Nia FreeDance, Valentina Thayer believes that understanding the body's systems and rhythms allows each person to live in harmony with himself and the outside world. Valentina explores the relationship between nutrition and art, encouraging artistic practices that will enable workshop participants to express themselves fluidly. In addition to Macau Moons, Valentina taught FreeDance and collaborated with Rawlicious, Yoga Loft, Lululemon, KindKrafts and Bootcamp. Half American, half Argentinian, born and raised in China, Valentina speaks Chinese, English and Spanish fluently.
