Is there anything special with the female body?
Workshop

Joana Vasconcelos' bride looks like an imposing chandelier made from a waterfall of shiny pendants. Closer, we are surprised. The thousands of trinkets we thought were glass or lustrous crystals are, after all, hygienic tampons, still covered in plastic. The work explores issues around sexuality, menstruation and daily life as a woman. The workshop titled "Is there something special about the woman's body?" explores the cycle of women to transform your understanding and perception.

Valentina Thayer is the founder and educator of Macau Moon.  Through interactive workshops, Macau moons, a platform dedicated to sharing information, the body-mind-emotion connection, the female menstrual cycle, and balanced life, are easy to understand. As an Integrative Nutrition Health Certified Teacher Coach for Nia FreeDance, Valentina Thayer believes that understanding the body's systems and rhythms allows each person to live in harmony with himself and the outside world. Valentina explores the relationship between nutrition and art, encouraging artistic practices that will enable workshop participants to express themselves fluidly. In addition to Macau Moons, Valentina taught FreeDance and collaborated with Rawlicious, Yoga Loft, Lululemon, KindKrafts and Bootcamp. Half American, half Argentinian, born and raised in China, Valentina speaks Chinese, English and Spanish fluently.
