REDE's mission is to fundamentally support artistic and curatorial production in Portuguese-speaking worlds by promoting artistic residencies.

A REDE tem como missão apoiar a produção artística e curatorial nos mundos de expressão portuguesa, fundamentalmente através da promoção de residências artísticas.

REDE seeks to bring together in a single digital platform the centres of artistic production (artist residencies/ artists' studios or artists, curators and individual researchers) with the spaces where art becomes public (museums, galleries, art centres, foundations), creating opportunities for dialogue about works in progress, synergies, points of confluence, divergence or just moments of meeting.  

The REDE promotes and disseminates opportunities such as grants, calls for exhibitions, itinerant or mutant exhibitions and artistic and curatorial research projects to facilitate the circulation of artists, works, exhibitions, exchanges and knowledge production.

REDE is mapping and creating an archive of contemporary artistic and curatorial practices, in a multidisciplinary approach, of Portuguese-speaking worlds.

A REDE procura reunir numa única plataforma digital os centros de produção artística (residências artísticas/estúdios de artistas ou artistas, curadores e investigadores individuais) com os espaços onde a arte se torna pública (museus, galerias, centros de arte, fundações), criando oportunidades de diálogo sobre trabalhos em curso, sinergias, pontos de confluência, divergência ou apenas momentos de encontro.  

A REDE promove e divulga oportunidades como bolsas, convocatórias de exposições, exposições itinerantes ou mutantes e projetos de investigação artística e curatorial para facilitar a circulação de artistas, obras, exposições, intercâmbios e produção de conhecimento.
